Tumor (definition)

(tu'mor) (tumour) (Latin. Tumere - to swell)

A tumor is an enlargement of the tissues by normal or pathologic material or cells that form a mass.
It may be an inflammatory or a benign or a malignant new growth of cells or tissue.
