Describes the fine, peripherally attached and centrally detached scale at the edge of an inflammatory lesion.
Describes fine and loose scales.
Describes large, polygonal scales - as in fish scales. Describes a silvery, white, parakeratotic, lamellated scale, similar to a scale of psoriasis.
