Lipoma

Lipomas, benign accumulations of fat cells, are clinically seen as ill defined, soft, occasionally tender, masses in the subcutaneous tissue.
Multiple lesions are often familial.

Treatment:

  • If symptomatic, surgical excision may be indicated.
  • Liposuction can also be effective therapy.
