Idiopathic guttate hypomelanosis

Synonym:

Disseminate lenticular leukoderma

Idiopathic guttate hypomelanosis is an acquired condition consisting of discrete areas of depigmentation 3 to 8 mm in diameter, most typically on sun exposed arms and legs.

Treatment:

  • The depigmented areas often respond to light liquid nitrogen cryotherapy.
